5M have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays

Homework will be set on Wednesdays and is due in on the following Mondays.

Maths

In Y5 at Wigton Moor we following the White Rose Education maths scheme.  Details of the topics we cover and when they are covered can be found on the Y5 long term plan document below.

All children in Y5 have access to MyMaths to complete their homework. MyMaths also offers a wide range of maths games and activities that children can access at any time. Activities cover everything from Y1 maths to KS3 maths topics.

Children in Y5 should continue to regularly practise their times tables to ensure they can recall multiplication and division facts quickly and accurately. All children in Y5 still have access to TT Rockstars.

Reading

At Wigton Moor we use Vipers to support our teaching of reading.
