Gardening Club 2025
18th July 2025 - Finally time to harvest the broad beans!
4th July 2025 - After doing some watering and weeding in the Quad, we re-potted our marigold seedlings. Then we went to the allotment to plant out the climbing beans.
27th June 2025 - We took the bean plants down to the allotment and finished off building our climbing frames for them. We ran out of time to plant them out! The broad bean pods are starting to grow.
20th June 2025 - We started to build a structure for our beans to climb up. We attached old CDs to recycled hula hoops to scare off the birds. We also did lots of watering as it was a hot day.
6th June 2025 - We planted out Radishes and Chard. We had lots of weeding to do because of the recent rainy weather. There were lots of worms!
23rd May 2025 - We sowed some pea seeds in the Quad then went down to the allotment to give everything a thorough watering due to the hot dry weather.
16th May 2025 - A hot day! We planted out strawberry plants and beetroot seedlings.
