World Book Day Winners!
Potato Competition
This year we gave the children the task of creating their favourite book character from a lumpy potato! The Reading Ambassadors nominated their favourites from each class, and Mr. Hadfield picked the top 3 in each year group. We had some fantastic entries across school - congratulations to the winners!
Spark! Poetry Competition
Children across KS1 and 2 took part in the competition as part of their World Book Day activities. One poem from each class was sent off to Spark! for judging in their competition – we will have to wait and see if any of our entries have been successful! A huge well done to the children whose poems were selected.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
