Wigton Moor was originally built in in 1965! Initially the school was separated with an Infant and Junior site. Since then there have been many changes to the fabric of the building allowing us to comprise 15 classrooms, several group rooms and cloak rooms, administration and meeting rooms, a large computer suite, library and finally a multi-use hall. Most recently the school was able to modernise and restructure a significant part of the school in order to take a bulge cohort - we now have approximately 450 pupils. What this photo tour will show you is that it is very difficult to get a clear idea of the school and it's make up from the street.
We hope the pictures below enable you to get a fuller picture of what the school is like. The best way to understand the school is to speak with past and present pupils and staff. School tours are available during open day and by request.
