Protected Characteristics
At Wigton Moor we believe that everyone learns and everyone achieves because everyone matters. We want all of our children to gain an understanding of the world they are growing up in, in order to learn how to live alongside, and show respect for, a diverse range of people. In doing so, we promote equality and pupils understanding of the protected characteristics. We teach these in an age appropriate manner, with a clear progression of understanding across the Key Stages.
