Home Education Suggestions
First of all, thank you for your ongoing support at this difficult and frankly quite surreal time. In Year 3 we have been working hard to provide you with as much guidance as we can to support you and your child with their education over the coming weeks. However, and we cannot stress this enough, anything you do at home with your child is an absolute bonus and the suggestions we are making are to help support you, NOT an expectation of hours of work to do. We do not want to add to your stress at this time. Reading, playing and finding time to have fun together are the best things for your own and your children’s mental and physical health. With that in mind the year 3 team have created some topic plans with suggested activities and links to helpful websites. We will be using these plans in the classroom too for those children who will be coming in to hopefully foster a continued whole year spirit amongst the children.
Each topic plan will have suggested activities to last 2 weeks at a time and we will make each new block available every fortnight. If your child or you come up with something different but still linked to the plan please feel free to pursue that interest.
Below is an explanation of what you could do at home. If there are any issues your child can contact us through DB primary or you can email us directly. We will be available during normal school hours and will try to get back to you as soon as we can.
If there is anything else you are unsure about then please email us using the addresses below. And remember, we are all here to support one another and our first duty as teachers will always be the safety and well being of your children. Take care.
