Year 4
Welcome to Year 4!
PE Days
Wednesday - Swimming starting 10th September 2025
Pupils will need to come to school wearing their swim wear under their PE kit and bring a towel and clean underwear. We go every week all year apart from the last Wednesday and the first Wednesday of a term.
Fridays - Please wear your PE kit on this day. Remember to tie long hair back and cover earrings.
Homework
Reading
Read and be read to (where possible) and discuss your reading books with an adult. Use your reading record book to record every time you read to an adult. Remember you can read books from home too. Your reading record will be checked weekly - how many signatures can you get? Remember, signatures mean team points.
Spelling
Spelling homework is set weekly on Spelling Shed. Games mean team points!
Times tables
- Use TT Rockstars to practise your times tables. We give stickers and certificates for
- TT Rockstars each week. We will do a multiplication tables check every week.
Maths
Maths homework is set weekly using White Rose Infinity. Team points are also given for Infinity.
