2C are scientists! We carried out an investigtion to find out which material would be waterproof, strong and squashes small to make a picnic bag for Baloo to pack into his full suitcase.

The pictures tonight were from Active Schools Come and Try Basketball. It was run and organised by Leeds Force Basketball. Pupils had the opportunity to take part in a new, different or forgotten sport and learnt some difficult ball control skills. All pupils tried really hard and there was a great work ethic from all pupils. Well done all.

Reception classes celebrating Chinese New Year
School governor Sarah Del Pozzo came to join us for one of meetings. Today we drew up an action plan of what we wanted to achieve as a school council this year. We will publish this on the website once it's been typed up by year 6 reps. School councillors also had the opportunity to quiz Sarah about her role as a governor.
2C were using Bee-bots to work on their programming skills. They needed to move the Bee-bot from one block to another without it stopping. All groups achieved the objective. Well done 2C!
