As part of the life cycles topic, Year 5 have been learning about the different parts of the hypericum plant and investigating the factors that affect germination.
5B are looking for signs of water in and around the school building as part of the weather and water topic.
Year 5 enjoyed a visit from the Fire Service. We learnt about fire safety, having a fire safety plan in the home, the dangers of making hoax calls and the importance of wearing a seat belt. We even had a go at modelling all the heavy protective gear the fire fighters have to wear!
